VISUALLY IMPAIRED (VI)
Due to a unique arrangement with Southend Borough Council Judo for Blind/Visually Impaired people is FREE at Southend Judo Club.
(This excludes BJA membership and grading fees)
Judo is unique in that all age groups, both sexes, and most disabled persons can participate together in learning and practising the sport. At Southend Judo Club we have many members that are SN classified, some that are registered disabled and some that are visually impaired. But, take a visit to our club and none will be easy to spot. We all train together, united in judo. At Southend Judo Club we don't have 'normal people', we just have people. Don't expect to be treated any different from any one else, you won't be!
